PİDE (flat bread) WITH PINAR TURKISH STYLE SAUSAGE AND COLOR PEPPER

Per 4 people
Ingredients
For dough;
4 glasses of flour
1 glass of warm milk
40 g fresh yeast
1 egg yolk
1 egg
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. liquid oil
For the topping;
PINAR Classic TURKISH STYLE SAUSAGE
2 glasses of kashar cheese, grated
1 red pepper (with the seeds removed and chopped finely and lengthwise)
1 yellow pepper (with the seeds removed and chopped finely and lengthwise)
3-4 pieces of fresh thyme

Directions
Melt the yeast in the warm milk and wait until it rises. Melt the butter. Put the flour in a deep kneading pot. Open its middle part and knead adding melted butter, egg, yeasty milk and salt. Cover the top with a wet cloth and keep in a warm place until it rises thoroughly. Divide into lumps. Spread the dough in oval shape. Sprinkle the grated kashar, color peppers and the Turkish Style Sausages. Fold one side of the dough and cover the “pide.” Press the sides with your fingertips. Lay them onto the baking tray with the baking paper on. Spread egg yolk over the top. If desired, you may crack one egg over it before placing into the oven. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over it. Serve hot.
